Epsom 2 Reigate Priory 2 : League Epsom Goals from Russel Tebay & Paul Atkinson
This is usually a fiercely contested local derby and this time was no different, with a high tempo game ending in a 2-2 draw. Epsom had beaten Reigate 5-2 in the first half of the season and Epsom coach and long time Reigate sympathiser Immy Bhatti warned that the visitors had arrived with revenge in mind.
Oxted 2nd XI 2 - Epsom 4 : League

Epsom Goals By Jimmy Midmer (2), Russell Tebay & Rob Tong Epsom were without key player Paul Atkinson for the trip to Oxted, and without his reliable finishing at short corners Epsom were unsure as to where the goals would come from. Morale was not improved by a robust start from Oxted which proved too much for Wade Joubert, the forward was sin binned after voicing his opinions on the standard of tackling.
Trojans 2 Epsom 6 : League Epsom Goals by Wade Joubert (2), Russell Tebay (2), Mahmood Bhatti, and James Midmer Trojans are a tough, well-organised side but the hosts had no answer to a superb first half display from Epsom which saw the Surrey side go in 4-1 up at half time. Epsom started the game at a high tempo and rolled forward wave after wave of attack spearheaded by Wade Joubert, who was in inspired form in his favoured drop centre forward role.
Epsom 3 UCL Academicals 2 : League Epsom Goals by Tong, M.Atkinson, Joubert Epsom moved up to second place in the Surrey Hampshire league with a victory against UCL Academicals at Blenheim on Saturday. Epsom dominated the early exchanges and it was no surprise when a flowing attacking move played in Rob Tong to open the scoring after 10 minutes.

Alternative Race Night Success

P1000552

What a brilliant social event at the club on Saturday! The results earlier in the day may have been a touch disappointing but the evening was not. A fine win for England over Wales in the rugby, with Jonesy almost in tears at the end, was followed by the 1st XI Men's annual Alternative Race Night.

The evening started with a good bit of nosh and then the first race was a penalty shoot out. A few Stuart Pearce and Chris Waddle moments later it was Rob Tong who emerged the winning sharp shooter. A very happy chairman presented his winning jockey with a bottle of wine!
