England Hockey Mixed Trophy
The Mixed team also did the club proud by beating Havering HC in the first round of the England Hockey Mixed Trophy 3-1 away in sunny Essex . Epsom Mixed played incredibly well as a team and stunned the Havering team by scoring two awesome goals in the first 10-15 minutes (by Dave Powell and Andy Mc Namee). Havering managed to score one past super keeper Tupps with an awesome flick but shortly after Epsom scored again from a short corner by captain Natalia Anda. With sub Jonny Hugo getting injured in the warm-up hence not making it onto the pitch, the Enthusiastic Epsom Eleven worked hard in the second half and continued to display spells of Champagne hockey and ended the game with a 3-1 win. Man of the Match was Rachel Hargrave with Duncan Holmes a close runner up. Big thanks to Tim Collett for travelling all the way to Essex to umpire. The Mixed Team face another Essex team in the second round, Crostyx, next Sunday 26th Feb at 2pm at Epsom College. Please come to cheer them on!
England Hockey Womens Over 35s cup
A massive congratulations to the Ladies over 35s team who beat Wycombe Women Masters Over 35s to make it through to the Quarter Finals of the England Hockey Womens Over 35s cup. The match ended 4-4 and Epsom won 3-1 on penalty flicks. Super Keeper Sarah Wight was the Man of the Match. They face Wimbledon at home in the Quarter Finals on the 4th March and would love your support.

Epsom Ladies over 35s are playing Wimbledon over 35s this Sunday 4th March at 2pm at Epsom College in the Quarter Finals of the England Hockey Women’s Over 35s Cup.
